I got to get experience in several different departments within the company. I learned all about hydraulics and how hydraulic cartridge valves are made. They had mentors to help you throughout the summer, and had lots of outside activities to do with the other engineers and interns.
What I wish was different
I was the only girl in the internship program of 30 other interns, I wish there were more women. But everyone was very nice and I didn't have any problems.
Advice
Try internships in all sorts of different industries, you never know what you're going to end up liking.
