I loved how I was able to engage with the founder of the organization on a daily basis (Susannah Burley) which is uncommon in most organizations. I also liked how, once trained, I was able to independently be assigned a task. Having my own assignment and responsibility was such a great experience.Lastly I loved being able to go outside for the majority of the day and not be stuck inside.
What I wish was different
I wish I was able to see what all went into planing events, executing events, fundraisers, and promotions. I worked outside primarily mapping
Advice
Bring a water bottle and wear clothes you are comfortable in possibly getting dirty because each day has its own task. You could find yourself simply mapping or re-mulching a tree so be prepared.
