What I liked

Working on an independent project was a lot of fun. Taught me particular skills about working towards a goal. There was ample support from my boss as well as support from other functions. Overall, it was a great experience during COVID.

What I wish was different

Had COVID not struck, I would have loved to be in person. But overall, it was great!

Advice

Everyone is talented and eager to see you shine as well! Don't worry too much about inadequacies, just try your best and everyone around you will be infected by that energy!

What I liked

Everything! The work was interesting, the team and management were kind and friendly, and I learned so much!

What I wish was different

I wish I'd had more interaction with other interns in general, I really only engaged with other interns during the Hackathon.

Advice

Don't be afraid to just reach out to people, nobody holds being an intern against you and everyone is eager to help out in any way!

What I liked

My goal before starting my internship as a Tech BLP was to learn how to bridge my engineering/technical experiences with business functionalities within the marketing/finance tracks at Synchrony. I loved that I had the freedom to explore my own interests, and was able to complete 2 extra projects that involved both the Marketing B2B team and Tech tracks on top of my assigned Tech-only summer project. I was given the opportunity to have real leadership experiences within different cross functional projects, and left earning a full time position! Other things I liked: free housing, great pay, diverse workplace
