What I liked

Work with coworkers and customers. Ability to realize what needs to be done and experience to work efficiently.

What I wish was different

More hours and more say in what should be prioritized during day-to-day activities. As well as more organized managers.

Advice

Do not be afraid to ask for help, you might understand one thing after the first explanation, but other things you will need more help with. Making sure you have done something correctly will end up making you a better worker and also better suited to train other people that get hired.

What I liked

Managers and coworkers were helpful and encouraging, and seemed genuinely interested in me even though I was a temporary employee. We used walkie-talkies around the store which was great for asking questions and not feeling isolated even though working on my own.

What I wish was different

I wish I had received a little more training on using the cash register as there were some functions that I wasn't familiar with and it was sometimes stressful to be on the register.
