What I liked
Freedom to work on what projects I wanted and when I wanted to. I also really enjoyed feeling like I was making a difference in my campers life. I also became incredibly close to my coworkers.
What I wish was different
Director made decisions that I frequently disagreed with, not because of the decision itself but because the reasons used to make it. I would've appreciated a more open mind towards other opinions and reasonings.
Advice
If you struggle with a camper, get to know them better. Eventually you'll reach a point of understanding and start liking them and they will listen better.
