I loved how understanding and flexible my supervisors were! It was such a welcoming work environment.
What I wish was different
I wish they gave me more assignments. They were in a transitional period so I know it could not have been helped.
Advice
Don’t be afraid to speak up! The ACLU is all about equality, so let your ideas be heard.

It was a great experience, I had no prior experience so it was great to finally have something to put on my resume.

I wish I would have gotten payed lol

Non profits seem to be a really good place to get work experience. They will not pay with money but they will pay you with experience and that is pretty much all you need
