What I liked
I love the group of people I got to work with as well as the overall duties I performed as part of the biomedical engineering team. I learned a lot about the devices that are used in the hospital including how they operate, how to fix them, and how to diagnose problems.
What I wish was different
I wish the pay had been slightly higher and I wish I had started the job sooner.
Advice
Find one or more people you really connect with and know you can go to with questions or concerns about anything.

What I liked
I love the people I work with and the floor I am on. Everyone was extremely welcoming to the hospital so I never felt like I was out of place. I also love the patients that I work with.
What I wish was different
I honestly wouldn't change anything if I had the chance to.
Advice
I would tell the next person to take advantage of the training period and don't be afraid to ask for additional training days if you don't feel comfortable with the job yet. The patients need the right care so it is important to feel comfortable with the care you are giving.
