Interacting with faith leaders as well as diplomats. Planning for and attending events. Creating invites, programs, and other materials for distribution. The boss and office environment was great.
What I wish was different
Some days there was not a lot to do, so having a few more tasks would have been good.
Advice
Take advantage of the city. You get to go to the UN, and it's good to learn more about it. Don't be afraid to see a need and fill it.

What I liked
I loved working with Ryan and the senior couples! We had the chance to do some amazing things and go to some neat events.
What I wish was different
It would have been nice to have some pay, but we made it work with the grants.
Advice
If you are married, find housing in New Jersey and commute into New York. Take advantage of being on the east coast and have fun on the weekends!
