What I liked
Great staff, wonderful location, very friendly club members.
What I wish was different
It had been run more effectively. The internship, the learning opportunities and goals my manager had set, failed to be achieved. In the end, if felt more like a summer job as opposed to a true learning opportunity. However, it was the first year of the program so it most likely will be improved.
Advice
Regardless of how much or how little you are enjoying your work experience, always put in the maximum effort. It can get frustrating when the core aspects of the internship that you were told was going to happen fall through but you shouldn't let that effect your work ethic or enthusiasm.
