What I liked
I felt very welcomed and I was given the opportunity to choose which team to work with and what to research.
What I wish was different
Since I started when GFC was in the process of moving offices, it was a bit harder for me to feel grounded in my research at the very beginning.
Advice
GFC encourages your own opinions and knowledge -- do not be afraid to share your experiences since they value the voice of the youth.

The relaxed work environment that was perfect for adjusting to a 9-5 schedule and encouragement of learning.
What I wish was different
A little bit more structure in intern tasks, it was very self guided.
Advice
Try to work with as many of the departments in the office as possible!
