Advice
Find something that suits you, residential with hours that all over the place was not for me. And it began to take a toll on my health.

What I liked
My supervisor was incredibly supportive and always kept me in mind for any events going on that I could take part in. I developed a great relationship with the girls in the home who really needed a positive mentor.
What I wish was different
I wish it would've been longer because I learned so much from my supervisor and from the environment.
Advice
Get involved in everything that goes on, off site and on site, parting parties, court dates, treatment meetings, you can really soak up so much and don't be afraid to ask questions, they love to help you learn.

What I liked
I liked the compromise and dedication the staff has towards the children and youth in the program.
What I wish was different
I wish I would’ve done my internship during school time when it’s easier to track and follow up clients.
Advice
My advice is to give yourself the opportunity to meet and socialize with everyone in the team including clients. Plant your seed and take the best out of it.
