It was very hands on. I did a lot of work that really contributed to the improving of Latino lives, and I was able to be a part of board meetings to see how the organization operate don a broader level.
What I wish was different
I wish it had been in person, though the fact that it was remote made it easier to take the internship as travel would have been nearly impossible
Advice
Remember to keep a detailed log of your hours so you know how much work you've done. Keep all your files well organized so you can keep track of items easier. Reaching out to your supervisor is also such a great source of information, they're there to help as well, and it's so much better than doing things without needed help.
