The internship included enrichment lectures and extracurricular events related to marine biology. The mentors were invested in helping interns learn and develop their skills related to animal husbandry. Mentors also supported interns throughout their independent research projects.
What I wish was different
It would have been nice if the internship position was paid.
Advice
Be ready to work hard; animal husbandry is more labor intensive than I initially thought it was.
