Research Intern

July - September 2018 • Washington, DC

What I liked

Having the freedom to research policy issues I cared about, and contribute directly to original and timely projects.

What I wish was different

I would have enjoyed working longer than eight weeks to complete ongoing projects.

Advice

You can make a difference at this stage in your life, so take a job where you can reinforce and support your values on a daily basis through your work. If you care about human rights, political reform, or other democratic values, you can contribute to long term change through a Tahrir Institute research internship. Don't be afraid to self-advocate and take on independent work!
