We believe that we operate one of the most flexible business models in the world. Our stores have no walls between departments, which enables us to expand and contract merchandise categories to respond to market trends and changing customer preferences. Our inventories turn rapidly, which gives us flexibility to adjust our merchandise assortments more frequently than traditional retailers. Our buyers have more visibility into consumer, fashion, and market trends when we buy closer to need. We source merchandise globally from a universe of approximately 21,000 vendors and more than 100 countries. Our world-class buying organization of over 1,200 Associates is constantly focused on seeking the right categories, fashions, and brands, while also testing new ideas. Our flexible business model, decades of off-price experience, and global sourcing and buying power have been major advantages throughout our history. We believe these characteristics of our business will continue to be our winning retail formula in the future.

The diversity of our Associates makes us a stronger Company and better able to serve our broad and diverse customer base around the world. We strive for an inclusive workplace where our Associates feel welcome when they walk through our doors; valued for their diversity of thought, background, and experience; and engaged with our mission to deliver great value to our customers every day. Our inclusion and diversity programming is grounded in the understanding that being inclusive means welcoming a range of differing backgrounds and perspectives and our decades-long, open door philosophy encourages our Associates to listen and be understanding. We embrace that our workforce encompasses people of different races, ethnicities, ages, sexual orientations, gender identities, abilities, experiences, religions, and much more, who come together to help move our business forward.

“The culture was really one of a kind. They were there for you no matter what the issue was. Some companies treat interns like errand-runners, or someone to do inessential work. TJX gave you meaningful work and projects. Some tasks may seem tedious, but they were for a reason with the end goal to add value to the business. You will also receive a lot of opportunities to meet and talk with executive leadership in all areas of the business. ”
