The mission of the UTMC PGY1 pharmacy residency program focused in managed care, ambulatory and community pharmacy develops well-rounded pharmacists who exhibit qualities of strong leaders with exceptional clinical and preceptor skills in a variety of healthcare settings. This residency program enhances general competencies in managing medication use systems and supports optimal medication therapy outcomes for patient with a broad range of disease states.
