Tougas Family Farm is a family oriented Pick Your Own Fruit farm located in Northborough Massachusetts, centrally located between Worcester and Boston. We are a popular destination for day trips and weekend family outings, with a convenient location from major highways and main roads.
The Farm was purchased in 1981 by Maurice and Phyllis Tougas, and continues to be a small family owned and operated business, with son Andre joining the team, and becoming full owner in 2018.
The farm consists of approximately 8 acres strawberries, 6 acres cherries, 8 acres of blueberries, 5 acres peaches and nectarines, 5 pumpkins, and about 30 acres of our main crop; apples. We pride ourselves on offering the sweetest and best tasting fruit around, fully field ripened! It doesn’t get any fresher than right off the plant! All available for Pick Your Own!
Along with the Pick-Your -Own experience, we also have a Farm Store and Kitchen, serving pies, crisps, fruit slush, ice cream shortcakes, light lunch items, and more! We have a fantastic children's playground, and barnyard animals, and also offer field trips and group outings.
Tougas Family Farm is not just about the high quality and delicious fruit we grow, but about making memories, building traditions, enjoying fresh air, and having family fun.
We are open seasonally beginning in June with strawberries, and conclude with apples and pumpkins in November. Hiring dates vary, but generally training starts Mid May, and closing down for the season ends mid November. Our peak employment periods are June and September and October.
