Data Entry Intern

What I liked
Flexibility and variety of opportunities.
What I wish was different
Communication and number of given tasks.
Advice
This type of work is incredibly desirable to undergrads, but difficult to maintain consistently on a school schedule, consider ways of bringing new staff in by working directly with university settings.

Business Executive Intern
June - August 2021 • New York City, NY
What I liked
I really enjoyed the experience of living in the heart of NYC for 2 months. The work environment was great as well as the fast paced city. I had a great time working at TransPerfect, the people I worked with very very kind and and near my age, which was definitely easier to connect with. I worked in an office in a skyrise and had an incredible view of the empire state building. Work hours were set but still flexible. Overall I am very content with the choice to work at this company as an intern and the opportunities they gave me.
What I wish was different
The only thing I wish I knew before coming in was the option to be remote. I of course enjoyed the city very much and I believe that in person experience is a total different thing, but being able to know going remote was an option would have saved me a lot of money on the place I was staying.
Advice
One piece of advice I would share is to always be professional and show good attitude even if your job is not what you expected. The people can tell your attitude and always being professional will help out in the future for future jobs.
