What I liked

-Many (60+) short projects. I spent each day working on multiple things. I did not get bored very often. -Mentors were very patient in teaching me many software skills. I left knowing how to use AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Synchro, and HCS softwares. -Small office, I learned everyone's name. We went out to lunch often.

What I wish was different

-More field work. The majority of my time was spent in the office. -More time talking with my supervisors. I spent most of my time working alone, often not knowing the impact or context of my task.

Advice

Do not be afraid to ask questions. At first I was worried about wasting people's time with my inquiries. In reality, they were happy to help, and their transfer of knowledge led to less mistakes on my part.
