I got to be outdoors doing field work many days, and I experienced and observed how all the different government sections with different roles work together as a team to achieve a common goal.
What I wish was different
While this internship was physically challenging and full of new experiences, I would have liked to experience some more leadership type roles.
Advice
From this experience, the best price of advice that I learned would be to always ask questions and don’t assume that your questions are going to bother the person you’re asking. It’s better to ask and do it the right way than to try to figure it out yourself.
