This is a great office for young conservatives who want to actually see what its like to work on the hill. We were given ample opportunity to shadow staff to meetings, help assist in research, and feel like a part of the team.
What I wish was different
I wish I had been able to be there during some different things that were happening in Washington after I left.
Advice
You need to be willing to work like you aren't just a intern. They will give more responsibility to you the harder you work, and are expecting you to be loyal and hardworking all the time. That being said, its an unpaid hill internship, which means there is still some flexibility in your schedule.
