I loved the atmosphere of being able to work outside and to gain experience working with customers, both positive and negative.
What I wish was different
I wish the hours were busier during the week. Most of my Monday-Wednesday shifts were super slow.
Advice
I recommend finding an occupation dealing directly with guest services and customer service before getting your first major job so you can see how differently you must treat different individuals.

Loved the application of emergency preparedness and customer service, while remaining in an outdoors environment

I wish I had more time to truly grow my skills as a raft guide and possibly obtain a role with more repsonsibility

Prepare to put in a lot of work and time for minimal salary but an unforgettable experience
