I enjoyed my time interning with Probation and Pretrial Officers. It was the best time of my life. I had the chance to go to court and work on federal cases.
What I wish was different
I wish I had more time interning with U.S. Probation.
Advice
I advise anyone who is thinking about interning with them is to communicate with the officers. Definitely ask many questions to them and keep in touch with them. They will remember you if you stand out and will put your foot in the door first than anyone else who applies here. If I would not be a full time graduate student now, I will definitely be working there by now.
