I was able to get on hand experience with working with lab animals such as mice. I was able to see the safe procedures that are done in order to ensure the mice are greatly in a safely manner. I was also able to see what it’s like to prep for experiment and then see it be done.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have spent more time doing seeing the experiment being done and seeing how it affects the mice after they have gone through the trials.
Advice
It’s a great way to get more hands on animal and research experience if anyone wants to go into pre-vet or research based jobs.
