This is an excellent position. The work is engaging and super useful to my professional development. My supervisor and co-workers and great people to work with. The pay is great. I'm learning a lot of new skills and adapting my current skills to create academic content on topics like soil health, entomology, and general innovation technology in agricultural science.

Advice
I would say this job is unlike most student positions in that it feels somewhat demanding. That's not a complaint, but I work quite hard at this job and know my co-workers do too. Working at IIFH is a challenge but a fun one, because my supervisor believes in me and expects me to produce quality work. But even when I make a mistake, it's always approached as a learning experience and I couldn't say enough about how my manager has supported me throughout this experience despite some shortcomings on my part. My advice would be to work hard, be engaged, and don't be afraid to ask questions, make mistakes. Embrace it as an educational experience in addition to work hours.
