Since it was the summer there weren't many people around, so I didn't get much of a chance to work in a team.
Advice
Experiences like these are usually good opportunities to learn new skills and meet new people. It is up to you to get the most out of it.

Don't worry if you feel like you're not doing enough and/or not being useful enough! The people running the program know exactly what's expected of you, trust them if they seem happy with your progress.
