Founded in 1905, the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences is the only medical school in North Dakota. Today, two out of every three family physicians in the state received their medical degree from UND.

Researchers across departments at the SMHS conduct over $20 million in research annually. The School also offers master and doctoral graduate programs in Clinical & Translational Science and Biomedical Sciences.
