What I liked

I have enjoyed my experience with UniMovers so far. Working for this company has allowed me to expand my portfolio as well as my writing skills. I have also received help with building my resume as well as other skills such as SEO, WordPress, and other blog related skills.

What I wish was different

I honestly have no wishes for anything to be different. I love this job, the opportunities it has given me, and the management is amazing.

Advice

One piece of advice I would give about this experience would be to take advantage of the resources offered. Ashlyn has helped me so much with expanding my writing skills into a broader scope as well as helping me with expanding my resume. The entire management team at UniMovers is so helpful, don't be afraid to ask for their advice on anything!

What I liked

My boss was extremely helpful in improving my SEO skills, writing skills, and WordPress skills. I went into the job with little experience in online content creation, and now I can say I understand it well. The pay was also great for keeping some money in my pocket during school!

What I wish was different

I would not change anything about my experience. It has been an excellent way for dipping my toes in the water.

Advice

it should be noted that because your editors are student workers or have many stories to edit that getting edits back can occasionally take longer than expected.

What I liked

My boss was incredible in giving me opportunities to grow and learn. He always answered questions and worked closely with me when necessary while also giving me creative freedoms. I was able to network and add to my resume and develop or add skills I didn't have when I began the internship.

What I wish was different

The only issue I had was I did so much brainstorming that I did not get a chance to organize and prioritize the order in which I tackled things.

Advice

If someone gives you the opportunity to learn and network on the job, take it! It is such a valuable tool to have down the road when you feel like you no longer have time to do so.
