What I liked
Union Mutual has a positive work environment which encourages employees to not only excel in their job, but also gain alternate experience in other company departments through their Employee Development Program. Interns in particular are introduced to the responsibilities of each department and also given a comprehensive overview of the whole insurance industry.
It is worthy of mention that Union Mutual takes internships seriously but also excitingly. Intern outings, lunches, competitions, and volunteer opportunities are some of many ways in which a vibrant work life is created.
