I like the fact that I am helping make a difference in someone’s life and I enjoy engaging with people.

The pay. If I’m being honest, for the amount of work I do and the stress that I encounter from it, I feel I should be compensated more.

If you like being on the phones throughout the course of your day, then this job is for you. If you also love helping others get the best care possible, this job is for you.

What I liked
Everything! I love the culture at UHG. The people are welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The pay was good. The entire experience was just amazing.
What I wish was different
While working there I had the opportunity to do discovery calls with people from other departments. The only thing I would have changed about my experience would be to have worked in the Navigard Department.
Advice
If you have the opportunity to intern at UHG or Optum please do so, it's an amazing experience with a great company that is doing amazing things in health care.
