Earned a useful certification and gained a lot of medical knowledge. This helped me be more comfortable in a medical setting and learn basic/routine skills.

Soak up as much information as possible, learn your residents and don't be afraid to ask questions!

What I liked
Caring for those in need. The job was extremely rewarding and it helped me recognize that a career in health care is exactly what I want.

Nothing. I enjoyed every second.
Advice
Developmentally disabled individuals have much more to offer towards society than some might think. They are different but their abilities amaze you when you take the time to experience them.
