Always be willing to start with small temp positions. You have no idea where it may lead you. I am on my second assignment here at UNOS but in a different department now and I’m potentially up for a full-time position because of the connections that I’ve made while being here as a temp.

What I liked
I was able to work on production code that would help the end user instead of just working on an intern project. I was incorporated into a team of 6 great people. Everyone at the company was nice and friendly and wanted to get to know each other on a personal level. You’re also working for a great cause.
What I wish was different
Besides maybe a bump in pay, nothing, it was the best experience I could’ve had at an internship.
Advice
