Orientation and Welcome Leader
May - July 2018 • Tucson, AZ
What I liked
I liked that I was able to stay on campus for the job and talk to incoming students and their families about a school I love and what I am passionate about. Seeing all the of the students about to start their collegiate career was an incredibly rewarding experience, especially knowing that our interactions could help shape the start of it.
What I wish was different
I wish that the hours were more spread out and there was less staff for the days that were not as busy and more of the locations that students had to walk to closer to the main location of events because during the summer in Tucson sending people outside to walk across campus was uncomfortable.
Advice
I would say only take this job if you are passionate about being a student at the University of Arizona and are excited to share your experience and can also handle 12 hour days.
