“What began as a student worker summer job turned into an official job as Program Aide for Smartscape. This is an AMAZING program sponsored by Tucson Water's Conservation Fund. I love that this program focuses on offering professional education on water conservation, specifically on irrigation and Sonoran Desert Landscapes. It reaches out to the people who work daily on our Tucson landscapes, which is great! On top of that, they offer residential classes on rainwater harvesting and drip irrigation systems! I also LOVE my team who is very inclusive, enthusiastic, passionate, and hard working!”
