What I liked
I liked that the Internship provided opportunities for personal growth for both the mentor and mentees.
What I wish was different
I wish I had focused sooner on developing a firm schedule of weekly events with my youth member (mentee)
Advice
Understand that just because you think something is common sense does not mean your mentee will as well. Be patient and understand that your role, as a mentor, isn't to change their life overnight.
