Writer/Editor & Instructional Design Support Intern

What I liked
My experience working on campus was fantastic. I loved the people I worked with and learned so much along the way. I would recommend working at the UHCL campus, and specifically the OIE office, to any student who can. The experience gained is definitely worth it and has also enhanced my resume very much.
What I wish was different
I wish I could stay in my current office full time in a communications position. I quickly grew to love my office and co-workers, so I am sad to part with them.
Advice
Even if you feel like you may struggle with balancing work with school, I would recommend trying out a job on campus. The people you work with are very helpful and can be flexible when needed.
