Be able to articulate your philosophy on teaching: how do you view your role, how do you think students are best evaluated, how do you approach answering student questions, etc. Also be clear on why you are interested in teaching, as people want to hire someone genuinely interested in the job.
I would focus on 3 things:1) Why michigan (know what makes them unique and why you want to go there).2) What makes you unique?3) Know who are interviewing with and research them ahead of time. Be engaged in their interests.
