I liked the independent work and time to myself. I also enjoyed the research skills I gained that have helped me in other classes and that I used to write my senior thesis.
What I wish was different
I wish I had connected more with other research assistants. However, this experience was during covid so there was less opportunity for in-person connection.
Advice
Stay connected with your professor and be sure to ask for help or clarification if you need it.
