I got to work in a professional environment with other scientists and conduct aquatic research on streams. The culture, the people, the science, it was all beautiful
What I wish was different
I wish I stayed in a nicer place. My apartment didn’t have hot water or any means of cooking
Advice
Sometimes you have to sacrifice luxury for something you love and it was totally worth it. Follow your dreams cause they are defiantly out there somewhere. This internship showed me how much I love freshwater science and that it is what I want to pursue in life
