Being an Orientation Leader allowed me to learn many things about the University I call home and allowed me to increase my knowledge of myself as a member of a team. I gained so many new connections and was able to gain invaluable experiences. It gave me a platform to present the University of South Carolina in the best way possible while advocating for the Carolina Creed and having an impact on the new generation of Gamecocks.
What I wish was different
I wish that I could have been able to form a core group of friends within the orientation staff sooner rather than more towards the middle of my experience, but regardless I was still able to make those connections and friendships.
Advice
I would recommend that everyone apply to be an Orientation Leader I can not rave enough about what a wonderful experience it was.
