My research professor was very active in helping me and gave me lots of advice and knowledge about the real world applications of my work.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have been in a lab as opposed to working online, but I know that wasn't in anyone's control.
Advice
Don't be afraid to ask questions! You aren't supposed to know everything already, and your research professor is happy to help you.

What I liked
Having a job on campus is really convenient. It reduces the stress of having to commute somewhere and, if you're lucky, you are getting paid to do something that is contributing greatly to your education.
