Don't be afraid to meet your professors, they're regular people too! They'll see a spark in you and will give you or point you to opportunities! Love it!

What I liked
Being the only intern, I was sort of forced to teach myself a lot of things and it really helped me grow and know what to do if ever I don't know something. It really increased my sense of independence.
What I wish was different
I wish that I had the opportunity to be mentored by someone who was in the field that I plan to be in so that I could learn more from someone else in a more direct manner.
Advice
Be an active listener, always ask how you can help out especially if you've finished all of your work that was assigned - be proactive, it's a good look.
