The Children's Center is a full-service, high quality child development center and learning facility for the children (ages 6-weeks to 6-years) of UNL faculty, staff, students and the community of Lincoln. Located next to the Whittier Building on Vine Street, the on-campus location engages kids in learning, play, and mealtimes for the development of early-childhood skills and talents. 22 full-time teachers and 200 part-time student teachers are employed. The Children’s Center is open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday–Friday.
