I loved how they were able to incorporate our Indigenous values into everything that we did. I also loved how welcoming the staff was and how awesome it was to work with them all.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have finished the full term of the internship. It was supposed to end in September.

Embrace the independent work space and network consistently.

Do an internship even if it’s not something in your field. Gain experience in all different kinds of things.
