I liked the flexible schedules and that I wrote my own schedule

Worked less hours on important weeks for school and more hours on unimportant weeks for school.

What I liked

I loved how flexible the job was. I know the job won't be available for another 10 years, but as a recruiter I was able to coordinate events myself, then go to these events and talk to people and it was really up to my own schedule.

What I wish was different

I wish that the job wasn't ended early. It was also a little bit disorganized, but that's to be expected since it's a once in a 10-year operation

Advice

It was a great experience and I really don't regret it. If there's an opportunity, even if you're working another job which I was, make sure to take it! Because my other job ended up being canceled due to Corona virus but I'm still able to work this one.

The hours were flexible and pay was great! I got reimbursed for travel.

What I wish was different

There was no guarantee of work each day and I had to travel significantly.

Advice

Working as a census enumerator is a good way save up some money in a short period of time! Definitely recommend next time the census comes around
