Make sure you have all documentation before showing up. HR may not give you all the paperwork and it is really difficult to know what you are missing. If you do not have an offer package/entrance package/offer letter, or something along those lines make sure to get one.

It was an interesting career with many benefits. And the traveling to different places was a plus.

I wish I had used the educational benefits earlier to work toward my degree while I was still enlisted.
Advice
Use the resources they have available while in the Military. It has so much to offer people. And it might get tough at times at times but it is worth it.

If interested in a career as a military pilot, or any career as an officer in the military for that matter, contact the local ROTC units. There are extensive befits with military careers.
