I enjoyed the research experience and many of the lecturers throughout the program. I got a lot out of this experience and it helped me make some crucial decisions in my degree planning from the fall semester and on.
What I wish was different
My advisor, a graduate student, which we spent a majority of our time with, seemed to have a bias against several female students in the program
Advice
I advise students interested in the marine or environmental aspect of biology to apply for this program to see if it best suits them. I also advise students interested in human/health biology to apply in order to provide them with experience in other field.
