I liked the amount of responsibility they gave me, I had so much work to do constantly and I'm a fast-paced person so it was perfect. I liked that I translated for many of the Immigration Officers and was able to provide customer service duties directly including responding to questions and providing directions. Management treated me very well and made sure I felt comfortable all the time throughout the internship.
I overall learned so much and absorbed all the information and would like to work for them again.
What I wish was different
I wish management would of let me shadow ISO 2 Officers, I wanted to learn what everyone had to do in the office, not just the ISO1 Officers.
Advice
Just go ready to work, ready to learn and absorb all the information you can.
Everything in the government is GO GO GO and then WAIT WAIT WAIT. Be patient.
