What I liked
It was really great to be able to teach kids about the environment. This job helped a lot with my communication skills.
What I wish was different
I wish that there were longer time periods with the kids so we could have done more intensive projects - but we still got a lot done!
Advice
Keep upbeat around the campers (destress on your lunch break) and be patient! It's a really rewarding job.

What I liked
I loved the people, the culture, the autonomy of my job, as well has the overall mission of Usdan. I loved interacting with campers and also utilizing my excel skills to keep track of sales.
What I wish was different
I wish their had been a central location for inventory, as opposed to many small areas for storage around the camp.
Advice
In customer service, even if there is a general policy, it is okay to bend the rules a little bit for a customer that seems passionate about what they want to buy (Ex. allowing the customer to pick up their merchandise at a different time or location, even if it is slightly more inconvenient for the seller). This also increases their experience and makes them trust you more!
