I was assigned some projects and everyone from technicians to engineers were extremely helpful in answering questions I had. I was also given a fair bit of freedom in designing my own experiments and was given a flexible schedule to complete the projects. If you like getting your hands dirty, this would be a good fit. I spent a good chunk of my time on the manufacturing floor and in labs.
What I wish was different
Things can move slowly at times so I wish I had been assigned more projects. If not more projects, than more organization and planning for intern projects.
